Grand Server Refresh We are restarting the server. Tonight, at midnight (eastern)! Get in on the ground floor! You may have seen the "interest check" thread floating around the forums. We've been running the server for a month or two now. With the new health update, we figured what better time to restart and attract more lovely faces.
What is Minecraft?Minecraft is a "sandbox" lo-fi digital lego-ish game with zombies and skeletons and so much awesome you might as well vomit. It was almost entirely programmed by one guy and has sold over half a million copies. However, be warned that the game is STILL IN ALPHA. If you buy it now, you'll get the game essentially for half price, and every future update for free. But because the game is still in alpha you should expect a lot of bugs.

What's the point?Want to explore the land? That's the point. Want to build an impenetrable fortress? That's the point. Want to hoard resources? That's the point. Minecraft is what you make it. As we start playing with the new world, we might come up with group projects. Until then, the point is to have fun.
I want sweet server privilegesHang out on the server and be a worthwhile person.
Special note from CweedUnless someone wants to take up a donation drive, the server is gong to be hosted out of my house. I don't have the funds to pay for a dedicated server out of pocket. So please be patient as there might be intermittent downtime. I'm also not entirely sure how many players my server box can handle.
