To keep this short and sweet, as many know the nerf Crossbow is the most BAMF blaster there is. I have recently been able to dig my claws into a stock one and wish to mod the living hell out of it! All I've been able to find for mods is a wall of text(without an AT2K integrated in it). Are there any decent video(s) of mods done to these to help me better understand?

I too would love to have a crosbow just to make my collection complete.
But as I learned last night, my swarm fire can already shred hoards of zombies i Swiss cheese, so I think I'll stick with this one for a while.
However, I wish you luck with your work. Hopefully youl makes something out of the supposedly (never used one cant say for my self) nerf gun in existence.

reading for like 2 and half hours last night over guides about this, i have come to a conclusion that ill need abit of PVC,CPVC, a new spring, rubber washer(maybe), another O-ring, lithium grease, Epoxy, glue+gluegun, and some steel plating for reinforcements. seeing as i already have half the list, what spring would be recommended from what you know? so many say arrowstorm, k26,BBB,#19,etc. and YES i will be posting pictures for this.

Have you thought about using sheet aluminium instead of sheet steel? It's lighter and easier to use, but it's still very strong.
From what I've heard, the k26 is the spring of choice if you can get them.

I know that the +bow (which is based off the Crossbow) uses a full length K-26 spring. I got mine off of McMaster Carr for $10 for 5. Best deal i've seen on them.

Pretty sure a standard crossbow would use a K25. Split said something about it a WHILE back.

besides having to buy a k26 from someone like a commission is there a site that sells them?(doesn't commission much...) I've finally decided upon a color scheme/paint job for it, and a pretty good idea of how to mod it. since i've splurged on this and cannot afford a LnL to match, i bought an iron man mask to paint the same way too.

When I posted originally I totally spaced on the fact that McMaster was already mentioned: I know that the +bow (which is based off the Crossbow) uses a full length K-26 spring. I got mine off of McMaster Carr for $10 for 5. Best deal i've seen on them.
Here's a direct link to the place to get k26 springs to save you some Googling ( http://www.mcmaster.com/#9637k26/=cofkf1). They only sell the springs in 5-packs, but you could definitely more than make your money back by selling off the extras to other modders. Otherwise, cut to proper lengths they're great in a wide variety of applications. It's money well spent.

For the love of god, go slow and do it right. This is not something you want to rush.
