Title: YSU - Final update!
Post by: PyroForce7 on February 04, 2013, 06:37:42 PM
Turns out, all we needed was a regime change. Our chief of police recently retired, and his replacement has been much more favorable towards the game to put it mildly. Of particular note: he has friends on both the OU and OSU police forces, and got a lot of positive feedback from both about the games ran there. With his help and support; and the mounds of information, endorsements and other assistance we've gotten from folks like you, we've finally gotten clearance to go ahead with a full game of HvZ; blasters and all. So if you're still fighting, take heart. This was 4 year worth of fighting, it's not impossible. As more games are run successfully, and more positive relations are formed between administrations and HvZ organizers, hopefully there will be more stories like ours. Also, keep in mind that your game doesn't just reflect on you, it reflects on all of us. Don't derp it up.

Again, thanks to everyone for all of your help. We couldn't have done it without you guys.
