Whatever happened to the official HvZ blasters? They kind of just disappeared.

All hand painted with acrylic paint.

My first hand painted blaster.

I've been wanting a lever action for awhile. I'll definitely be getting at least 2. Now we can effectively cosplay Tallahassee, Zoe, and Jayne Cobb.

Elite Vulcan, or paint job?
6  Playing / Equipment & Toys / Re: The Official Want-To-Buy Thread on: August 11, 2013, 05:34:08 PM
I'm wanting a marshmallow mazooka, preferably just the compressor and battery harness to save on shipping.

On a side note, has anyone found an exact match for Elite blue paint?  Because this:

NEEDS to happen.

Or, you can buy an elite spectre at Walmart and not paint.

New zombiestrike pics with some new stuff. Enjoy: http://imgur.com/a/r1Nnu

Of note, machete and z-bombs.

I have a question for y'all: in my Stryfe, I installed a toggle switch to take the place of the acceleration trigger in the circuit, as I wanted to leave the motors running during games and save a few precious seconds. I want to do this in a rapid strike as well, but I don't know if it will work with the pusher as I interpret these diagrams. I'm wanting to use the existing switch as a trigger for integrations like a swarmfire, so I can one-hand it while reloading and still be protected.

Tldr: will the rapidstrike still work correctly if I install a toggle switch to keep the motors running?

I'd have done this event in a heartbeat if it wasn't all the way on the East Coast.

Events spread out nationally would be more lucrative.

HvZ-West? HvZ-Midwest? HvZ-South-Southwest-Off-Center?

HvZ Texas. It should happen.

Most useful utility mod I've ever seen: a guy took 2 raiders and duct taped them together. When one ran out, rather than reload he simply rotated the set up and used the other blaster.

Good to hear it'll be out soon. Can't wait to build my SwarmStrike.

I don't think anything you could put on a RS that shoots streamlines will be any assistance with effective range. The RS is already capable of serious velocity, and that is WHY it is inaccurate. A Retaliator set to reach out that far would just be inaccurate without full auto to compensate.

What you really need to boost effective range is something that shoots stable ammunition at high velocity, such as a blowgun.

A 1/2" copper pipe sheathed in PVC makes a fair streamline blowgun. Could work well with elites as well.

I've been real busy these past three days, but I'll attempt to get to your requests later today.

Can you also try to get an ID measurement on the plunger?

Not to toot my own horn, but one developed around me being cured so many times in my career at TAMU:

The McKnight: the one who always manages to get cured during the game, sometimes multiple times within a single game.
