Wasn't able to do buy them, but there were Swarmfires for $15 at our local targets($20-Cupon).
Yea. The coupon (and possibly price?) was only good until Wednesday. However, because it is a Top Toy, it would've shipped free through Target's website. Wasn't a thread here to post it on and I didn't really see a need in starting a new thread just for that. Oh well.

TRU's online store has a good deal on darts right now - free shipping on everything (up to $20 worth of shipping). Combine that with BOGO 50% off on Nerf stuff AND 16 pack darts at 2.99 each, and you're getting 32 darts for about 4.88 or so. Pretty good deal - gives you about 128 for $18. You do need to make each set of BOGO 50% off darts a separate transaction, but meh.
EDIT: Looks like I was looking at the BOGO 50% right at the end. No longer there. s: Free shipping still available though along with the free ammo w/ purchase of a blaster.

Me too. He does black on black and just blends in with the crowd. A bit dangerous when zombies can be in that crowd, but if they don't notice you, you're good. One girl did a camo jacket with a camo dana - you wouldn't know it was there unless you knew who she was. Ended up getting tagged by a friend, but I swear she could've survived the week like that.

The seller offers almost every variety imaginable in 50 dart lots - if they're truly off-brand darts but work better then Nerf, I might look into buying some for myself.

Nerfhaven is automatic approval - you join the Waiting group for so much time. Then you become a FNG for a while. I joined there the same time I joined here, currently a FNG.
And Nerf Rev gets people approved every week or so. I think it took me 1.5 weeks to get approved there?

@Alastir - you're better off carrying 1-2 Jolts and having a way to access darts. Carrying 4-5 Jolts primed, although it would have its uses, would take up more space then just carrying spare ammo.
Our blasters have to be concealed inside buildings, so you have to hide it one way or another. It also depends on how well you stick out or blend in. One of our mods can walk right past zombies all the time because his bandana blends with his clothing and he has it facing another human or just a regular friend - very hard to notice unless you look for the actual guy. I haven't had to try hunting humans yet, but I wonder if people even realize or not. That said, carrying and orange and yellow blaster is the same as yelling to the world your location.
@skull - That's because you're well-known for having a lot of range and firepower. Huge asset to humans, thus making you a huge target for zombies.

I carry a smaller load-out for class to class. Unless you let yourself get surrounded by zombies, anything maverick-sized will work at keeping zombies at bay. You can even just run with socks during the day too if you're efficient at using them.
Carrying something big is the same as yelling "Hey Zombies, I'm a Human, come eat me!" Not a good strategy.

I never had a jam issue with it (only occasionally would it not load a dart, but once I had it ready to go, never had an issue after). Wonder if they were priming it all the way or not (easiest way to cause jams, but that's a user issue if anything).

Quick 16 Type: Carbine Class: B Price: $20-$25 Action: Pump action, integrated clip Capacity: 16, integrated clip Pros: Fast re-loads so you can always be topped off with darts, able to use ammo you find on the ground Cons: Clip is bulky and a bit awkward depending on how you hold it Mods: Unknown Comments: It's a nice balance of ammo capacity, rate of fire, size, and ranges are decent enough. It's useful in both a solo and squad setting, although it is just a bit bulky to try and fit into a backpack.
Feel free to make edits as you like on it. Figured I'd contribute since I used this during my game.

I actually tried holding a Swarmfire during our game of HvZ as one of our mods was running with it. The blaster was so front-heavy, I couldn't get it comfortable at all (with or without the stock). At least the Stampede's weight I can balance against myself. Then again, that was for a short time, so eh...
The stampede has very little delay when firing - maybe 1 whole second? You should be able to keep a sock available in your off hand anyways, so a zombie charging you won't be an issue.
For battery life, it would probably be best to invest in some rechargeable ones that you could use - just take them out and charge them up each night. Otherwise, I'd guess that 6 D's could last you a good 2-3 missions for sure, but I haven't actually tried using it for that long period of time - I just picked mine up this past weekend.
The bandolier isn't necessary, as holding with the bipod as a second handle feels very comfortable.
If you're looking to be more mobile, I'd ditch all of the blasters you suggested and run with an Alpha Trooper or Quick 16 (or even dual-wielding Barricades/Rayvens(once they're released). Decent amount of firepower without a lot of weight or bulkiness in your way. It really depends on how you plan on playing.

Yes, I was referring to the Secret Strike Pocket Blaster, the air-powered one. They've been stocking the Jolts behind there (I guess because they haven't managed to get a hook and a price tag out for it by itself).

@skullface1818 - You checked behind the SSPB's, right? For one reason or another, KMart has been hanging them there.
Picked up a Vulcan, Stampede and yellow Longshot with all of their accessories and everything for $40 off of craigslist. I didn't realize the Vulcan would be so back-heavy - and that's without the batteries (need to buy some D's tomorrow for both blasters). Still, I have 4 belts for it, so I kinda want to run around as the Heavy weapons guy for a mission here and there. We'll see how that goes. Definitely sold on using the Stampede as a primary for HvZ though - it just feels so comfortable to use.
I really need to stop spending so much money on Nerf stuff...

Haha, no worries. Being creative is always a good thing; I'm actually on the hunt for cheapish "grenades" that I have listed in my signature as well as in the process of obtaining a remote control toy that has a turret attached. Not sure how I'll take advantage of these during a real game, but it's always worth trying.
Good luck on your future endeavors.
