1  General / Multimedia / Goofy Sock Ninja Loadout Video on: November 30, 2015, 04:12:09 PM
After doing a few "standard" loadout videos, I remembered I had a ninja outfit from years back and thought it could be fun to do a light hearted and goofy sock ninja video that isn't what I would call accurate by any means, but just meant to be entertaining.

I love suctions, personally I think they are worth the extra money if most of your engagements are in mid to long ranges, you do lose 5-10 feet of range and the darts fly a bit slower, but depending on your play style that might not matter. All that said though, in HvZ where most of the time you're shooting at zombies around maybe 5-15 feet away, the difference in accuracy might not be worth the cost difference.

Do you still have red streamlines? If so, how many?

Yeah, all the ones I'm seeing max out at around 2.5 inches tall, which is a bit too small for darts Sad unless you put the darts in sideways, but I for some reason was assuming they were standing up for neatness sake.

Does anyone have a link to pencil boxes that will fit darts? all I'm finding online are sizes that are too small Sad

I'm curious what the megashot is, I searched the nerf wiki but couldn't find it, do you have any pictures of it?

Gonna give this a bump by saying WTB Air Zone Rocket Storm(s). I still don't understand why they discontinued them, ridiculous amount of fun, even despite how impractical they are.

8  Playing / Equipment & Toys / Re: Stampede Gearbox Failure Prevention on: April 10, 2013, 09:43:00 PM
I'm curious, IF it is in fact that the newer stampedes have faulty pieces in the gearbox, is there a way to differentiate an old stampede from a new one, so we can know which might crap out earlier?

These are cheap, effective, and easily hold two 18rd. magazines per pouch (four per harness.) I'll post some pics of mine in a bit to demonstrate how well these work.

Did you ever get around to taking pictures of these with mags in them? If not could you at least let us know if the flaps close or not with the mags in them?

You put up something epic on your blog, but you don't tell us how much money is required to be thrown in your direction for one >_< but seriously, it looks awesome.

Thanks for the heads up that the malice clips can be used on belts.

Hope whatever kinks you're working on that kept you from revealing it aren't too much of a problem for you. Looks like it might be a chest rig or drop leg platform with built in clip pouches? Though it might be too wide for a leg.

I realize this thread is mostly loadouts and mods it seems like, but I had them all out today so I could organize and box most of them, so I figured I may as well take a picture.

Looking forward to seeing it, and was just wondering, is there any way to make something both compatible for a molle rig and still be able to be worn on a belt if you don't want to wear a rig, or vest, or whatever you may have?

What a brilliant compliment. Thank you!

Back-mounted holster you say? You may find this relevant to your interests...

That is certainly relevant, looks like I'll hold off on my order to see what you're cooking up :p

You're quite welcome, and I hope what you're creating is something you are really enjoying.

Also wanted to ask how much adjustability there is on the vest as far as getting it to sit lower or higher on your torso? It looks like there's some, just not sure how much.

Is it possible to both love and hate that you're doing this stuff? I love the work you're doing, it looks fantastic, and really like that you continue to improve the designs instead of just sitting on them. But my wallet hates you :p I will certainly be placing an order in the future. Thank you for doing this for the community.

I know you have the stampede sling loop, but I'm curious if you've thought at all about doing any kind of back mounted holsters for larger blasters, or if they would even be viable. I just know I hate running around with something loosely slung over my back hitting me every couple steps.
