Okay, so, thanks to a stripped screw, I just scrapped one of my mavericks. I did EVERYTHING else perfectly, and the darn screw accidentally destroys the cocking mechanism. (don't as my how, it's much too embarrassing). SO! I now have 1 maverick's worth of parts to fool around with. I want to mod the other one with them. Any suggestions?

It is possible to make the cylinder removable on your working one, and keep the other cylinder as a reload.

yeah, no, I was hoping to use more parts than just the cylinder though. Come to think of it, is it advisable to double up on the spring's in a mav or no?

It's not physically possible to double up on the Maverick springs and have the gun still work.  When cocked, the springs are fully compressed as is.

Step 1 -Put a Titan in your Maverick's shell.
Step 2 -Win at life.

Lol, thanks, but I was hoping to use my dead Mav's parts. XD Is there anything else I can do to it? Oh, wait, can I use the spring for my longshot? right now I've got a tiny spring in there with the stock one.

The Maverick's spring is puny. It won't do anything for your LS. Just scrap it, man. It's not worth it. Haha.

Put em all in a Ziploc bag and store it somewhere.

I've seen some pretty good looking modifications for the maverick on youtube, they'd be good for people like myself who don't have much experience modifying stuff.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egin2_oTs0w
Thats one link, the rest are on that guy's youtube.
There's also one on how to make a replaceable barrel, not sure if its by that guy though.
But yeah, youtube is a great place for detailed instructions on modifications, I find.

Generally, I search nerfhaven for an idea then search youtube to see if there is a vid. Some of the more advanced modders (ie Split, Capt. Slug)  do videos in addition to write ups.
