Nerf Posted it on Amazon. Pre-Order is $52.

Saw a post about it on NH.

OK, commentary:

WTF is up with those dimensions? 30 in. long, 15 in. wide, and 4.5 in. tall? The Fuck?

Nerf initial-conventions tells us that ECS-50 means Electronic Clip System-50 darts. I am assuming this means that the drum/mag/??? will use electricity to feed the darts via some method.

Obviously, this thing is full auto like the Vulcan; they use the same batteries and everything.

Yeah, I saw the 18 round clip on facebook. We were trying to persuade one of the kids from hong kong to get one and tell us what it was. The Vulcan's box is slightly bigger at 30 x 14 x 5.7 inches so we have some scale there. So it was a Vulcan 2.0 after all.....

Don't be so sure...
Vulcan = EBF
Stampede = ECS

The stampede will take some sort of clip, which probably means (oh joy) Streamlines.

Wait a second... streamlines means that this thing can be rebarreled...

Hell, if the plunger tube is big enough, I might actually have some use for this thing.

It's gonna have a reverse plunger mechanism. I can almost guarantee it. If it doesn't, then. . . by gods. . . the potential this thing will have. . .

Well barring the differences between the EBF and ECS monikers and feed systems, it doesn't change the fact that this is another Nerf machine gun.

Autos (such as the Vulcan) do not use reverse plungers.

True.

The dementiosn and long clip make me thing it could be something like the Sten SMG, but for Nerf.

All of this is courtesy of SgNerf
Anyway, notice how the blaster and the value pack have the same dimensions? This makes me think that the Value Pack is a double ammo deal, similar to the Raider and its Extra ammo thingy.

Wow, just plain wow. I can't wait to see this thing.

First look at Longstrike (coupon in nitefinder box): Oct 27 2009 (via SgNerf)
When it got here: Late Feb. 2010

So, this thing will get here in Sept.? Well, that makes the 'first peek date' in May, probably.
