As near as I can tell. the TAMU game will be December 5-12, 2010. We are actually attempting to get Stephen Colbert to attend.

So we've officially dropped to one game a semester? Yeah, I am definately doing monthly/bi-monthly nerf wars now...

We may have two per semester, I don't know. How likely is Stephen Colbert to come you think?

I have no clue. Given the fact that we don't have University backing, I personally doubt it will happen.

Considering that he covered HvZ already, he may be inclined to at least follow up on the game somehow.

I would like to announce that Slippery Rock University will be hosting a Humans vs Zombies Invitational in Spring 2010. We are currently unsure of an official date for the game and details are not fleshed out yet. But if any school is interesting, then please PM me or send me and email.

the weekend of March 19th seems optimal. - Gives a span of roughly a month in between that game and the PSU Invitational. - Gives PSU, at least, the two week span for the regular game (which may work well with other schools as well) - It's essentially Spring by that point anyway. - Gives plenty of time for people to get their shit in order to maximize attendance, as opposed to say, scheduling it in April and people being all "LOLZ I SPENT MY TIME ALREADY! DON'T NEED TWO INVITATIONALS A WEEK APART!" - Right before or right after Spring Break for most schools.

Chuck: Thanks for the tips-- that seems good too. I am kind of expecting the weather to still be shitty at that time with snow and slush and rain in SRU, but that would be more so in the spirit of the game for HvZ at SRU. I still need to discuss this with the other moderators though.

I know it may be moot due to volunteer sampling. But you could make a thread to poll the best week, like John did...?
