I'm pretty bad at not hitting at least one person in the head during any given mission or encounter. No matter where I aim, my darts always seem to find their way into someone's skull.
Yeah, I know how you feel.

If they are more than 40 feet away, headshots should be alright. I used an origami throwing star to get a skimming neck shot on my friend, but those things don't fly strait at all. When people are farther away you have to aim up a little, and when they are farther away the dart hurts less, they have a larger amount of time to dodge, and you get comended for your shot. Getting a long range headshot that doesn't hit them in the eye, in my opinion, is epic. But always aim for the center mass at close quarters.

I can't help it some times lol. When your doing the matrix at the same time while firing because your getting attacked by a horde and your in the center its awesome feeling just surviving. Alot of my battles are with my old reliable (my longshot un-modded). When I get into blood pumping fast action battles, the way I play looks epic.....only problem is that I never get it on video...... For example when I got bum rushed people saw me cocking my longshot by sliding it on my arm and instantly firing it off then cocking it with another part of my body. Another time I took out a clip by force when the gun still had it locked in.... then raming a new clip in that was in my arm pocket.... people say I do epic things... I only do it when I am reckless, and everyone else runs... My squad never sticks with me lol, cause to them I am insane when it comes to fighting hordes. (for example while getting debriefed for a mission a horde was spotted down the road. The horde consisted of 2 spitters (zombies who can tag with socks) , 10 normals, and the tank (which took 10 shots). I mean I was well equipped for it,
I had 20 socks for crowd control and my longshot lol.

2 Things That really saved me in the game last semester were things to keep in my mind day to day:

-Knowing the campus well. I played at UNCG and our campus is in the middle of a city. The surrounding streets of the campus were within the boundaries but any street further than that was out. I made sure when going to class, especially late in the game when I was outnumbered 3:1, to walk off of campus as much as possible. I found the fastest way to get onto campus near my class and darted back off after class.

-A question that is commonly posed when talking to my friends about HvZ is: light and concealable or heavy-overkill when going around day to day. The question is purely situational to me. If you are going across campus with a group of say 6 people, don't be afraid of carrying the Berserker because you will stick out on campus if you are in a large group. If you are trying to go 100 yards to your dorm from class, grab your pistol of choice and if a Zombie sees you, leg-it!

Those two things helped me survive last semester.

Yeah, we totally don't allow this at BSU. Safe zone hopping through buildings is one thing, but exiting the area of game play, circling around out-of-play, and re-entering at the closest place isn't allowed. I suppose it's a legit strategy, but something about it just doesn't seem right. It may have something to do with the fact "safe zone" implies 'playing the game, but safe', and "out of play/off-campus" implies 'not playing the game'.  Undecided

Because of the distance between campus and out-of-bounds it really isn't much of a problem at UNCG. It takes a ton of effort and isn't usually a good plan because Tate St is covered by zombies and Lee St is too busy to cross so the only street that is worthwhile is Market, but that side of campus doesn't see much play (it is also beneficial to music students who are at a disadvantage because of building placement and number of music student players).

Yeah, "getting off campus" wasn't as easy as it sounds. And Limacon, I AM a music student and I was one of two music students left (out of over 20) when the game was banned. I had so many hits on me the last day I'm not sure how I made it when I think about it.

One of my problems is carrying too much weaponry.  I'm slow as hell, so I tend to think that I need to be carrying enough Nerf to take out a horde myself.  This is silly, and I'm silly for thinking it.  Carry a main blaster, and then a secondary in case of jams.  Anything more than this (and some socks), is too much.

And don't go off campus if it's at all questionable, but go ahead and take circuitous routes.  Take back ways, alleys, etc.  If you're in a place that not many people will bother walking, you're unlikely to run into any hunting zombies.  It won't be worth their time.

When possible, I walk in the middle of street or the like.  If you leave space between you and any hiding spaces, you'll have more warning when a zombie shows up.  You'll be much, MUCH more visible, but it's usually worth it.

No place is safe, only safer.

Once one zombie sees you, assume they all have.  Cellphones are the horde's best friend.

Buddy up when possible.  I like to be in a squad of six people or so, and walk in a slow turtle formation.  One front, two per side, and a rear guard.  You'll have things covered pretty well.

Hey I am wearing a tactical vest and a military helmet as well as the military wear. the vest and helmet wear a bit but not enough to stop me. I wear alot of crap like 30 socks, now a raider, 6 clips, 2 mavs and a military backpack full of weapons and other stuff for pother people and missions. I am used to runing with alot of weight lol. I used to be a wide reciver so i am used to stuff like that lol. But yeah I am a heavy weapons specialist, and a armory, For me I never run from zombies because if I got all that gear, even though my black--- can run faster then all the players with it on, I still fight it out.
