Get tagged by his zombie buddies, either immediately or in a minute's time, as you try to reload twenty darts and re-pump the RF20. Anyone can buy a crate of darts and carry them in a bag. Ammo conservation is less about what's in your backpack and more about what's in the blaster or clips.

Here at UMBC, We stress politeness in our players, and stunned zombies will often help collect ammunition, and return it to the human players

(start by saying we only play with socks and marshmallows ... and occasionally foam balls)
We have an understanding that a zombie (especially a stunned zombie) cannot steal a Human player's ammunition (or any property really) and run away with it.  On the other hand, if a human goes running by and tossing his socks and then ducks into a building, the zombies that are unstunned are perfectly within their rights to camp out the ammunition laying on the ground and try to bait the human into trying to come get it back.  For the sake of campus cleanliness, any ammunition left behind by a fleeing human that is clearly not returning should be collected by any zombies in the area and thrown out if marshmallows and given to the next administrator you see if it's a sock.  Players can collect their lost socks from Administrators at missions or after the game.

Well, the rule itself seems kind of odd, as it sounds like it was made out of the product of bad sportsmanship. The fact that humans are capitalizing on the idea just goes to show that even good intentions may go awry. as for the sock moat problem... jump over it, maybe?

In our mini-games in the park, we say only moving darts can stun. We also encourage zombies to pick up darts to help prevent littering, unless the humans are around to pick them up. After each game we dump the darts on a table and people sort theirs out from the rest.

Primary: Akimbo Stryfes
Sidearm: Triad
Equipment: Lots and lots of darts and socks

Sounds like an interesting tactic. Little impractical but it would be fun to see the effect on game play or what tactics would evolve to counteract it.

Vital to the tactic is the actual rules on ammo. Does it have to be in motion? Can expended darts be picked up by Zombies but not socks? etc.

If expended ammo is still fatal to Zombies then it is a perfectly legit tactic.

Dont give up the ship!
