Their are a lot of Nerf you tubers out their, myself included, and I realized.
their is NO thread, anywhere, that details where they all are. I figure that one existing would be a good thing.

you have or have seen a you tube page, I'll add it to the database, but for now ill just be listing the ones I recommend on my own you tube and watch frequently.
some update quite frequently, others are more spratic.

Point: subs are by no means a count of skill as a modder. its a combination of skill, marketability, flexibility in videos presented (non nerf vidoes mixed in the Nerf ones), video editing, and working the youtube fan bases (or just begging for them).

He also has some videos with vitnage blasters (ratchet blaster), soem how-it-works guides descringing odd blaster propolsion systems, and a few videos showing off blasters he's made (like his doomsayer video)
a overall strong modder and a good add for any-one seeking a solid nerf channel

LandNHM 36
What got me was the guys arsenal video....It defiantly shows the signs of a nerfer whos been around the NIC quite a bit (blasters of interest was a crossbow, some rain bows, overhauled airguns, and PAS). Defiantly worth a sub just to see where he goes with his videos.

Here's mine, we made two cinematic HvZ trailers, the second went viral last year, and even got featured on Gizmodo, The Escapist Magazine, Geeks are Sexy, and a few others. Working on a larger scale project now, and some Orange Mod Works commercials on the side:

agreed. good resource, this. Maybe the OP could be organized to showcase "top tier" people/groups, like the ones that everyone should know about. Other general resources, and then fellow HvZers (particularly popular ones might graduate to "top tier")

I can reorganize it via subscribers and list it in order.
that's a good system to run it by.

How does one identify top tier?

below 100: entrey level
100-300: Mid level
300-500: upper tier
500-1000: super upper tier.
1000-beyond: elite nerf youtubers

advice for revamping this will be listened too.

and FTR, I wanted this stickied from the start and am happy that its getting some more attention.....I put some work into it and thought it was going to fall into obscurity.

Gnome: GOOD to see your alive! and good to see that your making epic blowguns! ill add you to the list as soon as I'm finished revamping it.

I third a stickying of this thread. However, I think it needs to be moved to the General section or Multimedia.

I think top tiering people might anger some who believe they should be top, you know what I mean?
Maybe organize them in some way like "Mods" "Movies", etc etc. idk, just a thought

I would just like to say, I don't think tiers should rely on subscribers. Subs =/= great mods. ACNerfShop don't do basic stuff to their mods that would push their ranges 15-30 feet further. No offense to them or anything. Thought I'd put that out there

I was just thinking that bobolo....the problem with tiers is that their are people like rogue (with 380 subs) that can outdo people with 10,000 subs (or just outdo almost everyone their is because he's rogue)

Point is, subs is by no means a count of skill as a modder. its a combination of skill, marketability, flexibility in videos presented (be they beer reviews, lets plays, or eating contests), video editing, and working the you tube fan bases (or just begging for them).

seeing as I JUST reorganized them based on subs however, I'm inclined to keep it as is, just adding a big bold heading dictating that subs does NOT equal modding skill.

I figure that reworking the page each month based on subs should keep it nice and fresh (seeing as they CHANGE rapidly).

and finally yea, this is by definition a multimedia thread....but it also ties in closely with equipment and modding. wherever it ends up works for me (let the mods decide, yes? Cheesy)

I'd actually suggest doing it alphabetically by their youtube/user name - Keeps everything fair and can then have details about their channels next to each listing.

Great work, nonetheless.

Holy shit! You're ALIVE!!
Didn't know I'd been so absent as to be assumed dead! I still kick around, but I work full time, attend school part time, and do zombie things the rest of the time. If you wanna keep tabs on me, chat or whatever, the best bet is facebook

as for the organization of the list and 'top tier' or not. that was just a kind of random idea I had had, but hadn't really thought about at all. Obviously top tier would mean different things to different people. Whether or not you believe someone with a lot of subs is good, you probably ought to pay attention to a certain degree (even if it's just to disagree) because that means a lot of other people are getting their info from someone. It's easier to pass off as knowledgeable if you are well researched Cheesy

Another good idea, especially if you plan on returning to the OP each month would be to "feature" a few of the 'lesser' subscribed folks to give em some added exposure. I'm talking about the real middle-of-the-list sort who might get overlooked for being OK, but not great. Often the top and bottom of a list are the places of highest exposure because people aren't as likely to look in the middle.
---
EDIT: As a result of this thread, I've finally taken the opportunity to do a little video and post it. It's a quick overview of my growing family of blowguns, and hopefully I'll make a few more videos about the individual pieces. This might also encourage me to repair and polish the ones that don't see much use.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, you make the most terrifying PVC creations I have seen.

The primary focus of my channel is range testing.  Most of what's there right now is Vortex related with that being a big unknown for most people, but time/weather willing I am planning on adding N-Strike and other blasters as well.  I do both stock and modded.
