Feel free to close this down any time, ozzy.

I need some ideas.  For christmas I got an amazon card ($30) and I want to spend on a blaster not available in most stores, something more special.
I am considering an Outdoor Sportsman 'Rapid Fire Shotgun' although I don't know if its a great choice for me.
I have also looked at the Speedswarm and I think it might be the way to go.
When will amazon get rayvens?  Should I just wait?  What is your opinion?

Thanks, Julien

3/3/12 has appeared on the nerf facebook page. but the US has them now... so i think it'll be as successful as the vortex launch date. rayvens seem the best option tbh.

also - usual hvz PC-ness: blaster, NOT gun.

If you'll excuse me, I have to go kick a puppy.

I was considering bringing this up... at Amazon's current price I don't know if it's justifiable, but that thing is fun as all hell. Shoots further than everything I've got but my singled at3k AND it has all the entertainment of being bow powered.

In all seriousness though, waiting for the rayven would probably be your best bet. I'm not sure if I'm really convinced in the worth of the speedswarm yet considering that stock rate of fire is absolutely atrocious, the rayven on the other hand is pretty amazing stock and the only real mod it needs is a simple voltage upgrade.

Just for S&G's, I'm half tempted to get the crossbow one and paint it or ducttape it to look like Daryl's from the walking dead. Although I could fill a book with what blaster mods and overhauls I've wanted to do(thanks to lack of modding material around me!)

Spooky, right there with ya on the book.

Go with a pede. Guess i'm a bit sided on that one since i'm a heavy. But, my pede has never let me down.

Get a rayven. everything a stock stampede is but smaller, lighter, and runs AA instead of D's. and if you are going to voltage mod then the rayven will have better range, and faster spin-up. To get a modded stampede to compare to a rayven takes the same trustfires but also springs and digging around in it.
