I think the unofficial theme song at Goucher for at least myself and a few others has been the "Truth & Reconciliation Suite" from the Halo soundtrack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VQPFpIjz18 , the part that lasts from approx. 1:56 to 4:55) or the "Mjolnir Mix" from the Halo 2 soundtrack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VQPFpIjz18). It is rumored that Goucher's very own Airwolf can sometimes be found playing this Suite on piano while fighting off waves of charging zombies using nothing but the socks on his feet and an unmodded Longshot.

I also think that "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden would be awesome, but this definitely takes the cake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5_qlhjsusQ

Either Undead by Hollywood Undead

Please dear god no.

EDIT: I also think that anything by Megadeth would be appropriate.

I can't believe nobody has suggested this song yet.

As an added bonus, when the game is over, the acting club can do their rendition.
the funk of fourty thousand years... meets the cleansing power of nerf foam!

Oh no...Zombie wars was the worst zombie movie ever...ever

Ever...

Also, this can easily be solved by a song about zombies for a game about zombies (Stubbs the zombie)

(to the tune of God bless the USA)

If tomorrow we all dropped like flies
And some had lost their lives
And I had to start again
Just my nerf guns and some socks
I'd thank my lucky stars
to still be livin' here today
'Cause we each still stand for living
And they can't take that away!

And I'm proud to be a human
At least I'm still alive
and I won't forget the men who died
To give my life to me
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend that still today
Cause there ain't no doubt I love our lives
God bless the Resistance!

From the lakes of Minnesota
to the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas
from sea to shining sea..
From Detroit down to Houston
and New York to L.A.
There's a zombie for every one of us
and they all say:

And I'm proud to be a zombie
where brains are all we see!
And I won't forget the brains who died
to give new life to me!
And I gladly rot in my grave
and eat them still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love the taste
How delicious are your brains!

...
...
(scream)
...
...

And we're proud to all be zombies
where brains are all we see!
And we won't forget the brains who died
to bring us our new life!
And we gladly rot in our graves
and eat them still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt we love the taste
How delicious are your brains!

I don't think this would be THE HvZ theme, but it probably would be the final mission theme

Personally, I've always liked this one, but I don't know if it'd make a good theme tune or not.

I suggest When The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash. It suits the apocalyptic nature of the game perfectly, and it is awesome music in its own right.

Run to the hills is a wonderful idea, what about "For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica"?

Didn't they already use that in Zombieland?

This one is easy.
well for humans that is. "be a man" certainly is a AWESOME human theme song.
I like "for whom the bell tolls" for zombies tho.
