Sequestering a zombie with some food and water after you've stunned them, say in a bathroom, for the 48 hour starving time seems like a good way to slowly whittle away at the zombie count...  But would that be allowed?

from what i can tell in most zombie stories any and all attempts to something that resembles capturing and keeping a zombie alive ends badly.  So aside from all the legal reasons it's also a bad idea in general zombie mythology
